Synopsis

• Desalmados is a feature film presenting the struggles, fears and creatures arousing within the dwellers of a dystopian world where medicine is scarce. Since the infection killed almost everyone and law and order broke down, the unprepared survivors are tempted to re-create society as they please. In the midst of a world destroyed and infected, Estela and Nico are chased by Rex, a mercenary leader who has a dictatorial reign of the only safe haven in the city. In his fortress, an old chemical factory, Rex controls strictly the scarce resources of survival, particularly medicines that are left in the world after the global tragedy. In Desalmados, the greatest danger is not the infected.
